The wording of the replies carriers require you to send, and a couple of hints for the composer. The replies themselves are not optional and cannot be switched off here. Leaving a box empty uses the default wording rather than sending nothing.

Keywords

These are handled before anything else and cannot be intercepted by a flow. Matching is case-insensitive on the whole message, so "stop" unsubscribes and "stop by tomorrow" does not.

Replies

Sent once when a contact texts STOP. Default: “{{ default_opt_out_text }}”

Sent when a contact texts HELP, even after they have unsubscribed. Should name your business and say how to opt out. Default: “{{ default_help_text }}”

Sent when a contact texts START. Default: “{{ default_opt_in_text }}”

Cost hint

Used only to estimate what a broadcast will cost. DemandTrail Messaging never meters or bills anything. Your Twilio invoice is the real number, and prices differ per destination.

A2P 10DLC checklist

US carriers require application-to-person traffic on a 10-digit long code to be registered. All of it happens in the Twilio console; nothing on this page performs or verifies registration, and these boxes are your own record that it is done.

{% comment %} Outside the form above, deliberately. This field is named `text` for the preview endpoint, and while `hx-params` scopes the HTMX request correctly, a field nested in the settings form would still be posted to the save URL and would submit the whole page when someone pressed Enter in it. hx-post rather than hx-get keeps draft message text out of URLs and access logs. {% endcomment %}

Try a message here to see what it will cost to send. The same counter runs in the Send SMS panel and in the broadcast composer.
